Last spring, our class visited a farm in a village near Jizzakh. Most of us live in flats in the city, so it was a new experience. The farmer, Mr Ergashev, met us at the gate with his two big dogs.
O‘tgan bahorda sinfimiz Jizzax yaqinidagi qishloqdagi fermaga bordi. Ko‘pchiligimiz shahardagi kvartiralarda yashaymiz, shuning uchun bu yangi tajriba bo‘ldi. Fermer Ergashev aka bizni ikkita katta iti bilan darvoza oldida kutib oldi.
First, he showed us the cows. There were twenty cows, and each one had a name. We learned how to milk a cow. It was not easy! My friend Akmal tried, but the cow moved and Akmal fell into the hay. Everybody laughed.
Avval u bizga sigirlarni ko‘rsatdi. Yigirmata sigir bor edi va har birining ismi bor edi. Sigir sog‘ishni o‘rgandik. Bu oson emas edi! Do‘stim Akmal urinib ko‘rdi, lekin sigir qimirladi va Akmal pichanga yiqildi. Hamma kuldi.
Then we collected eggs from the chickens and fed the sheep. After that, we had lunch under a big tree: fresh bread, cheese, yoghurt and honey. Everything came from the farm. It was delicious.
Keyin tovuqlardan tuxum yig‘dik va qo‘ylarni boqdik. Shundan keyin katta daraxt tagida tushlik qildik: yangi non, pishloq, qatiq va asal. Hammasi fermadan edi. Juda mazali edi.
Before we left, Mr Ergashev said, “Now you know where your food comes from. Please don’t waste it.” On the bus home, everybody was tired, dirty and happy.
Ketishimizdan oldin Ergashev aka: “Endi ovqatingiz qayerdan kelishini bilasiz. Iltimos, uni isrof qilmang”, dedi. Uyga qaytayotgan avtobusda hamma charchagan, kir va baxtli edi.
Tushundingizmi?
