A Trip to Chimgan

Last January, my family went to Chimgan for the weekend. Chimgan is in the mountains, about eighty kilometres from Tashkent. We went by car, and the trip took about two hours because the road was icy.
O‘tgan yanvarda oilam bilan dam olish kunlari Chimyonga bordik. Chimyon tog‘larda, Toshkentdan taxminan sakson kilometr uzoqlikda. Mashinada bordik va yo‘l muzli bo‘lgani uchun safar taxminan ikki soat davom etdi.
There was a lot of snow everywhere. It was white and beautiful. We stayed in a small wooden hotel. Our room had a big window, and from the window we could see the mountains.
Hamma yerda qor ko‘p edi. U oppoq va chiroyli edi. Kichik yog‘och mehmonxonada qoldik. Xonamizning katta derazasi bor edi va derazadan tog‘larni ko‘ra olardik.
On Saturday, my father and I tried skiing for the first time. A teacher showed us what to do. I fell down about twenty times, but it was very funny. My mother and sister didn’t ski. They went sledging and made a big snowman.
Shanba kuni dadam bilan birinchi marta chang‘i uchib ko‘rdik. O‘qituvchi bizga nima qilishni ko‘rsatdi. Men yigirma martacha yiqildim, lekin juda kulgili bo‘ldi. Oyim va singlim chang‘i uchishmadi. Ular chanada uchishdi va katta qorbobo yasashdi.
In the evening, we were cold and hungry. We ate hot shashlik and drank tea with lemon in the hotel restaurant. On Sunday, we drove home. I want to go again next winter and ski better!
Kechqurun sovqotgan va och edik. Mehmonxona restoranida issiq shashlik yeb, limonli choy ichdik. Yakshanba kuni mashinada uyga qaytdik. Kelasi qishda yana borib, yaxshiroq chang‘i uchmoqchiman!
