I live in a small town called Nurafshon. It is about thirty kilometres from Tashkent. About fifty thousand people live here. It is a quiet town with wide streets and a lot of trees.
Men Nurafshon degan kichik shaharchada yashayman. U Toshkentdan taxminan o‘ttiz kilometr uzoqlikda. Bu yerda ellik mingga yaqin odam yashaydi. Bu keng ko‘chalari va ko‘p daraxtlari bor sokin shaharcha.
In the centre of the town, there is a big square with a fountain. Around the square, there are shops, a bank, a post office and a cinema. On summer evenings, families walk around the square and children ride bicycles.
Shaharcha markazida favvorali katta maydon bor. Maydon atrofida do‘konlar, bank, pochta va kinoteatr bor. Yozgi oqshomlarda oilalar maydon atrofida sayr qiladi, bolalar velosiped haydaydi.
My favourite place is the park near the river. It has a playground, a small lake with ducks and a cafe that sells very good ice cream. I often go there with my friends after school.
Eng yoqtirgan joyim — daryo yaqinidagi bog‘. Unda o‘yin maydonchasi, o‘rdaklari bor kichik ko‘l va juda mazali muzqaymoq sotadigan kafe bor. Maktabdan keyin tez-tez do‘stlarim bilan u yerga boraman.
There is one problem: there isn’t a big hospital or a university here. People go to Tashkent for these things. The bus takes forty minutes. But I love my town because it is clean, green and friendly.
Bitta muammo bor: bu yerda katta kasalxona yoki universitet yo‘q. Odamlar bular uchun Toshkentga borishadi. Avtobusda qirq daqiqa yuriladi. Lekin men shaharchamni yaxshi ko‘raman, chunki u toza, yashil va samimiy.
