In March, our biology teacher, Mr Tursunov, had an idea. Behind our school, there was a small piece of land with only rubbish and dry grass. “Let’s make a garden,” he said.

First, we cleaned the land. We filled twelve big bags with rubbish! Then our parents brought soil and some tools. We divided the garden into small parts. Each group of three students had one part.
Avval yerni tozaladik. O‘n ikkita katta qopni axlatga to‘ldirdik! Keyin ota-onalarimiz tuproq va bir nechta asbob olib kelishdi. Bog‘ni kichik qismlarga bo‘ldik. Har uch o‘quvchidan iborat guruhga bitta qism tegdi.
My group planted tomatoes, cucumbers and sunflowers. We watered them every day after lessons. Some plants died because it was too hot, but most of them grew very well. The sunflowers were taller than us!
Mening guruhim pomidor, bodring va kungaboqar ekdi. Darslardan keyin ularni har kuni sug‘ordik. Juda issiq bo‘lgani uchun ba’zi o‘simliklar qurib qoldi, lekin ko‘pchiligi juda yaxshi o‘sdi. Kungaboqarlar bizdan ham baland bo‘ldi!
In September, we picked the vegetables and gave them to the school canteen. The cooks made a big salad for everyone. It was the best salad I ever ate, because I grew it myself!
Sentabrda sabzavotlarni terib, maktab oshxonasiga berdik. Oshpazlar hamma uchun katta salat tayyorlashdi. Bu men yegan eng mazali salat bo‘ldi, chunki uni o‘zim o‘stirganman!
