Hi Emma,
The best book I’ve read recently is “Wonder” by R.J. Palacio.
It’s about a boy with a different face who goes to school for the first time. It’s sad in places, but also very funny and warm. It made me think about how we treat people who look different.
The English isn’t difficult, because the chapters are short and the language is simple. I only needed my dictionary a few times.
If you like, I can lend you my copy before your trip. You can give it back when you’ve finished — there’s no hurry.
Happy reading!
