Hi Nick,
Yes, I read all seven books when I was twelve. I couldn’t stop reading! I finished the last book in just two days.
I definitely prefer the books to the films.
The books have more details, and I can use my imagination. In the films, some of my favourite parts are missing. The characters in my head also looked different from the actors.
You should read the third book next — it’s the best one, in my opinion. The films are still great fun, though, especially the special effects.
