I watched the last bus disappear around the corner. It was eleven o’clock, and home was ten kilometres away.
I had no money for a taxi, and my parents were visiting relatives in another city. So I decided to walk.
After an hour, my feet were hurting and I was cold. Suddenly, a car stopped next to me. It was my football coach! He was coming back from a match and recognised my red jacket.
In the end, he drove me home and bought me a hot drink on the way. Since that night, I always check the bus times!
