Suddenly, the sky went dark. My brother and I were halfway up a mountain, and we were still two hours from the village.
Within minutes, heavy rain started to fall and the wind was so strong that we could hardly stand. Then we heard thunder right above us. I was really scared.
My brother noticed a small shepherd’s hut under some trees. We ran inside and waited there, wet and cold, while the storm went on.
After an hour, the sun came out again. When we finally reached the village, the whole family was waiting for us with hot tea.
