My Pocket-Sized Music Studio
Ask most teenagers what they can’t live without, and they’ll say their phone. My answer might surprise you: it’s my old pair of headphones.
I use them for almost everything. On the noisy bus to school, they help me concentrate on podcasts that improve my English. When I’m studying, I listen to calm piano music that blocks out my brothers’ arguments. And in the evenings, I record songs on my laptop, so they’re essential for my hobby too. Even my mum admits they’ve made our house a quieter place!
Could I survive a week without them? Technically, yes — but it wouldn’t be pleasant. I tried it once when they broke, and I found it really hard to focus. I felt as if the whole world had become louder.
So, while they might look ordinary, my headphones are my favourite piece of technology. What’s yours?
