Namuna
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to apply for the position of part-time tour guide, which I saw advertised on your website last week.
I am a second-year history student at Tashkent State University, and I have a deep knowledge of the history and architecture of our city. Last summer, I worked as a volunteer guide at the State Museum, where I led groups of up to twenty visitors. I speak fluent English and Russian, as well as Uzbek, and I am currently learning German. I am confident, well organised and enjoy working with people from different backgrounds, and I am used to answering difficult questions from curious visitors.
I am available to work at weekends and on weekday afternoons from Tuesday to Thursday. During the summer holidays, I could work full-time.
I have attached my CV, and I would be happy to attend an interview at your convenience. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Jasur Toshmatov
