When I opened the door, I couldn’t believe my eyes. My living room was full of balloons, and all my friends were standing there, smiling at me.
“Happy birthday!” they shouted together. I was so surprised that I couldn’t say a word. I had thought everyone had forgotten, because nobody had called me all day.
Then my best friend, Dilnoza, explained that they had planned the party for two weeks. My mum had helped them hide everything in the kitchen while I was at school.
We ate cake, played games and danced until late. It was the best birthday I have ever had, and I will never forget that moment.
