Every Sunday, there is a big market in the main square of our town. It opens at seven in the morning and closes at two in the afternoon.
Har yakshanba shaharchamiz markaziy maydonida katta bozor bo‘ladi. U ertalab yettida ochilib, kunduzi soat ikkida yopiladi.
Farmers come from the villages and sell fresh fruit, vegetables, honey and milk. The prices are lower than in the supermarket, and the food is very fresh.
Fermerlar qishloqlardan kelib, yangi meva, sabzavot, asal va sut sotishadi. Narxlar supermarketdagidan pastroq, oziq-ovqat esa juda yangi.
You can also buy old books, clothes and toys there. Many families go to the market together. It is not only for shopping; it is a place to meet friends.
U yerda eski kitoblar, kiyimlar va o‘yinchoqlar ham sotib olish mumkin. Ko‘p oilalar bozorga birga boradi. Bu faqat xarid uchun emas, do‘stlar bilan uchrashish joyi hamdir.
My favourite stall belongs to an old woman called Rano opa. She sells homemade cheese and butter. She always gives children a small piece of cheese to try. Her stall has the longest queue at the market.
Eng yoqtirgan rastam Ra’no opa ismli keksa ayolga tegishli. U uyda tayyorlangan pishloq va sariyog‘ sotadi. U doim bolalarga tatib ko‘rish uchun kichik bo‘lak pishloq beradi. Uning rastasida bozordagi eng uzun navbat bo‘ladi.
At the market, you can also try street food: hot samsa, fresh bread and shashlik. There is also a man who plays the doira. People stop to listen, and children dance. On Sunday, our town square feels like a big party.
Bozorda ko‘cha taomlarini ham tatib ko‘rishingiz mumkin: issiq somsa, yangi non va shashlik. Doira chaladigan bir kishi ham bor. Odamlar to‘xtab tinglashadi, bolalar raqs tushishadi. Yakshanba kuni shaharcha maydonimiz katta bayramga o‘xshaydi.
