Describe a film that made you think deeply.
You should say:
- what the film was
- when you watched it
- what it was about
and explain why it made you think.
Namuna javob
A film that genuinely stayed with me is “Parasite”, the South Korean film directed by Bong Joon-ho, which I watched about four years ago after it won the Oscar for Best Picture. I watched it at home with my brother, not knowing much about it, which I think made the experience even more powerful. On the surface, it’s about a poor family who, one by one, trick their way into working for a very wealthy family — first as a tutor, then as a driver and a housekeeper. For the first half, it feels almost like a comedy, and you find yourself cheering for the poor family. Then there’s a dramatic twist, and the film becomes much darker and more violent. What made me think so deeply was the way it portrays inequality. The rich family isn’t evil; they’re polite and even kind, but they simply don’t see the poor family as fully human — at one point, the father complains about the way the driver “smells”. The film made me reflect on how invisible the people who serve us can be: cleaners, delivery drivers, security guards. For days afterwards, I found myself noticing them more, and I still think about that film whenever I hear debates about social class.
Syujet (spoylersiz) → mavzu → sizga ta’siri (kundalik hayotdagi o‘zgarish).
3-qism: Muhokama
Part 3 da imtihonchi mavzuni umumlashtirib, jamiyat darajasidagi savollar beradi. Fikr + sabab + misol + (ixtiyoriy) qarshi fikr.
-
Can films change people’s opinions about social issues?
Namuna javob
I think they can, because stories create empathy in a way statistics can’t. A film can make you see the world through someone else’s eyes, although one film rarely changes deep-rooted beliefs by itself.
Ha + cheklov.
-
Should governments fund their national film industries?
Namuna javob
There’s a strong argument for it, as films preserve culture and language, and they can promote a country internationally. Without support, local cinema struggles to compete with Hollywood’s budgets.
Dalillar.
-
Why are superhero films so popular?
Namuna javob
They offer escapism and spectacular special effects, and they appeal to a global audience because the stories are simple and universal. Marketing also plays a huge role.
Sabablar.
-
Will cinemas survive the rise of streaming?
Namuna javob
I think they’ll survive, but they may become more of a special experience — like going to the theatre — rather than the default way to watch films.
Bashorat.
