For books and food, yes. For clothes, it feels like a chore.
Farq.

Small shops for the experience, supermarkets for convenience — I use both.
Muvozanat.

Have shopping habits changed in your country?

Hugely. Ten years ago, almost everyone shopped at bazaars; now online shopping and supermarkets are everywhere.
O‘zgarish.

Describe a shop that you like to visit.
You should say:
- where it is
- what it sells
- how often you go there
and explain why you like this shop.
Namuna javob
The shop I want to describe is a tiny spice and dried fruit stall in Chorsu Bazaar in Tashkent, run by an elderly man called Akmal aka and his son. It’s in the covered section of the market, under the big blue dome, and you could easily walk past it, because it’s only about two metres wide. Despite its size, it sells an incredible variety of things: around thirty different spices in big open sacks, dried apricots, raisins, figs, almonds and several types of nuts I’d never heard of before I started going there. I go roughly once a fortnight, usually on a Saturday morning, and I always end up buying more than I planned. There are several reasons I love it. The quality is excellent — everything is fresher than in supermarkets, and the prices are fair. But what really makes it special is the personal service. Akmal aka always lets me taste things, explains which spices go with which dishes, and remembers what I bought last time. Once, when I mentioned my mother was ill, he gave me a bag of special herbal tea and refused to take any money. In an age of self-checkouts and online orders, that kind of human connection feels increasingly rare.
Joy → mahsulotlar → tashrif odati → sabablar (sifat, xizmat, insoniylik) → zamonaviy kontrast.
3-qism: Muhokama
Part 3 da imtihonchi mavzuni umumlashtirib, jamiyat darajasidagi savollar beradi. Fikr + sabab + misol + (ixtiyoriy) qarshi fikr.

Why are small local shops struggling?
Namuna javob
Mainly because they can’t compete with the prices and convenience of online retailers and big chains. Rising rents in city centres also make it hard for them to survive.
Sabablar.
-
Is online shopping good for society?
Namuna javob
It has clear benefits, particularly for people with limited mobility or in remote areas. But it can lead to empty high streets and fewer local jobs, which affects community life.
Ikki tomon.
-
Should governments protect small businesses?
Namuna javob
To some extent. Lower taxes or rent support for independent shops could help, as they add character to neighbourhoods and keep money in the local economy.
Shart.
-
How might shopping change in the future?
Namuna javob
I expect more automation — shops without cashiers and drone deliveries. At the same time, there may be a growing demand for personal, experience-based shopping.
Ikki trend.
