Are you interested in art?
Namuna javob
Increasingly so. I used to find galleries boring, but now I really enjoy them, especially with a guide.
O‘zgarish.

A few prints and a traditional suzani embroidery that belonged to my grandmother.

Describe a piece of art that you like.
You should say:
- what it is
- where you saw it
- what it looks like
and explain why you like it.
Namuna javob
The piece of art I’d like to describe is “The Bull” by Alexander Volkov, which I saw at the Savitsky Museum in Nukus during a trip to Karakalpakstan two years ago. Volkov was a painter who lived in Tashkent in the early twentieth century, and he’s known for combining European modernist techniques with Central Asian themes. The painting shows a powerful bull in the foreground, surrounded by figures in traditional clothing, but it’s not realistic at all. The shapes are fragmented, almost geometric, and the colours are incredibly rich — deep reds, oranges and golds, like a desert at sunset. At first glance it looks chaotic, but the longer you look, the more structure you notice. There are a few reasons I like it. Firstly, I love the colours; they evoke heat, energy and movement in a way that a photograph never could. Secondly, it represents a fascinating meeting point of cultures — it feels both Eastern and Western at the same time. And finally, knowing the story behind it moves me. Art like this was considered dangerous in Soviet times, and it survived only because people like Savitsky risked their careers to protect it. That makes it feel precious, not just beautiful.
Asar → rassom haqida qisqa → vizual tasvir → nega yoqadi (estetik + madaniy + tarixiy).
3-qism: Muhokama
Part 3 da imtihonchi mavzuni umumlashtirib, jamiyat darajasidagi savollar beradi. Fikr + sabab + misol + (ixtiyoriy) qarshi fikr.

Should governments fund the arts?
Namuna javob
I believe they should, at least partly. Art preserves culture and identity, and without public funding many museums and theatres couldn’t survive, especially in smaller cities.
Pozitsiya + dalil.
-
Is art less important than science?
Namuna javob
They serve different purposes. Science helps us understand and improve the physical world, while art helps us understand ourselves and each other. A healthy society needs both.
Muvozanat.
-
Why do some people find modern art difficult to appreciate?
Namuna javob
Modern art often prioritises ideas over technical skill, so people expecting beautiful, realistic images may feel confused or even cheated.
Sabab.
-
Should art be taught in schools?
Namuna javob
Definitely. It develops creativity and emotional intelligence, which are increasingly valuable in a world where machines can handle routine tasks.
Zamonaviy dalil.
