Describe a time when you saved money for something special.
You should say:
- what you wanted to buy
- how long it took to save
- how you saved the money
and explain how you felt when you finally bought it.
Namuna javob
A time I saved money for something special was when I was sixteen and desperately wanted a laptop. At the time, I was interested in graphic design, but our family only had one old computer, which I had to share with my two brothers. My parents couldn’t afford a new one, so I decided to save up for it myself. It took me almost a year. I did a variety of things to earn money: I helped my uncle at his shop on Saturdays, gave maths lessons to a couple of younger neighbours, and saved most of the money I received as gifts during holidays. I also cut out small expenses, like snacks after school, and kept a little notebook where I recorded every som I earned and spent. There were moments when I was tempted to give up, especially when my friends were going out, but watching the total grow kept me motivated. When I finally walked into the shop and paid for the laptop with my own money, I felt incredibly proud and grown-up. Interestingly, I valued that laptop far more than anything I’ve been given; I looked after it carefully for six years. The experience also taught me habits I still use today, like tracking my spending.
Sabab → strategiya (bir nechta usul) → qiyinchilik → natija → saboq.
3-qism: Muhokama
Part 3 da imtihonchi mavzuni umumlashtirib, jamiyat darajasidagi savollar beradi. Fikr + sabab + misol + (ixtiyoriy) qarshi fikr.
-
Should schools teach financial skills?
Namuna javob
Absolutely. Many young people leave school without understanding interest rates, loans or budgeting, and this can lead to serious debt problems later.
Kuchli pozitsiya + oqibat.
-
Why do some people find it hard to save?
Namuna javob
Partly because of rising living costs, but also because of constant temptation — online shopping and advertising make spending incredibly easy.
Ikki sabab.
-
Is it better to save money or to spend it on experiences?
Namuna javob
Ideally both. Savings provide security, but experiences like travel can bring lasting happiness. The key is balance.
Muvozanat.
-
How has technology changed the way people manage money?
Namuna javob
Mobile banking makes it easier to track spending, but contactless payments also make money feel less real, which can encourage overspending.
Ikki tomon.
