My Hero Is My Mum
When people talk about heroes, they usually mean famous people. But the person I admire most is my mum.
She is a nurse, and she often works at night. Even when she’s exhausted, she never complains, and she always has time to help our neighbours. Last winter, she looked after an old woman next door for weeks.
She has taught me that hard work and kindness are more important than money. Thanks to her, I’ve decided to study medicine too.
