IELTS Academic Writing’ning 1-topshirig‘i: 20 daqiqada grafikni tasvirlaysiz. Fikr bildirmaysiz — faqat ma’lumotni tanlab, taqqoslab berasiz. Eng muhim qism — overview (umumiy manzara): usiz Task Achievement 5 banddan oshmaydi.
- introduce what the chart shows (paraphrase the question) — diagramma nimani ko‘rsatishini o‘z so‘zlaringiz bilan ayting
- give a clear overview of the main trends — asosiy tendensiyalarni umumlashtiring (overview)
- report key figures and make comparisons — asosiy raqamlarni keltiring va taqqoslang
Imtihon strategiyasi
- Birinchi 3 daqiqani grafikni o‘rganishga sarflang: eng katta va eng kichik raqamlar, eng katta o‘zgarish qayerda?
- Overview’ni hech qachon tashlab ketmang — bu Task 1’ning yuragi.
- Ma’lumotni guruhlang: har bir qurilmani alohida emas, o‘xshash tendensiyalarni birga yozing.
- 150 so‘zdan kam yozsangiz ball tushadi; 170–190 so‘z ideal, ortiqchasi vaqtni yeydi.
Namuna javob
Aniq overview, ma’lumotlar mantiqiy guruhlangan (kamaygan va o‘sgan qurilmalar), raqamlar tanlab berilgan, taqqoslash iboralari va lug‘at xilma-xil. Shaxsiy fikr yo‘q. Taxminan 160 so‘z.

The bar chart compares the proportion of households in one country that owned desktop computers, smartphones and tablets in 2005, 2015 and 2025.
-
Overall, smartphones went from being a minority device to by far the most widespread, while desktop computers became steadily less common. Tablet ownership also rose considerably, although it remained below that of smartphones throughout the period.
-
In 2005, desktop computers were the most common device, found in 62% of homes. Only 18% of households had a smartphone, and tablets were almost non-existent at just 3%. Over the following two decades, desktop ownership fell steadily, dropping to 48% in 2015 and to 31% in 2025.
-
Smartphones, by contrast, saw dramatic growth. Their share more than quadrupled to 74% in 2015 and reached 93% by 2025, meaning that almost every household owned one. Tablets followed a similar but more moderate upward trend, climbing to 41% in 2015 and to just over half of all homes (52%) in the final year.
