Describe a city you would like to visit in the future.
You should say:
- where it is
- how you know about it
- what you would like to do there
and explain why you want to visit this city.
Namuna javob
A city I’ve wanted to visit for as long as I can remember is Kyoto, the former capital of Japan. It’s in the western part of the main island, about two and a half hours from Tokyo by bullet train. I first became interested in it when I was a teenager and watched a documentary about Japanese temples, and since then I’ve read books and followed photographers who live there. Kyoto has around two thousand temples and shrines, beautifully preserved wooden houses and traditional tea houses, and it’s one of the few major Japanese cities that wasn’t badly damaged during the Second World War. If I went, I’d love to walk through the Fushimi Inari shrine, which has thousands of bright orange gates winding up a mountain. I’d also like to take part in a traditional tea ceremony, stay in a ryokan — a traditional inn — and try authentic Japanese food at a local market. The main reason I want to go is the way Kyoto seems to balance tradition and modern life. In Uzbekistan, we also have ancient cities, so I’m curious to see how Japan preserves its heritage while still being one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world. I think I could learn a lot from it.

3-qism: Muhokama
Part 3 da imtihonchi mavzuni umumlashtirib, jamiyat darajasidagi savollar beradi. Fikr + sabab + misol + (ixtiyoriy) qarshi fikr.
-
Why do some cities attract more tourists than others?
Namuna javob
A combination of history, culture, food and accessibility. Marketing and social media also play a huge role — some cities become popular simply because they look good in photos.
Omillar.
-
Does tourism change the character of a city?
Namuna javob
It can. Shops and restaurants start catering to tourists rather than locals, and rising rents can push residents out of historic centres.
Salbiy ta’sir.
-
Is it better to visit famous places or less-known ones?
Namuna javob
Famous places are famous for a reason, but less-known places often feel more authentic and less crowded. Ideally, a mix of both.
Muvozanat.
-
How has the internet changed the way people travel?
Namuna javob
Completely. We can book everything ourselves, read reviews and even see places virtually before we go, which makes travel easier but perhaps less spontaneous.
Ijobiy + salbiy.
