Namuna javob
I’d like to talk about the Silk and Spices Festival in Bukhara, which I attended with my family two summers ago. It takes place every year in late May or early June, mainly around the old trading domes and the Lyabi-Hauz square in the historic centre. The festival celebrates Bukhara’s history as a key city on the Silk Road. For three days the whole old town was transformed. There were craftsmen demonstrating traditional skills like silk weaving, wood carving and making ceramics; there were food stalls selling dishes from different regions; and in the evenings there were concerts of traditional music and fashion shows featuring designs inspired by old ikat patterns. What I enjoyed most was the atmosphere — the streets were packed with locals and visitors from all over the world, yet it felt relaxed and friendly. I also loved seeing young people taking an interest in traditional crafts; one young potter told me she’d learned the skill from her grandfather. It made me feel proud of my country’s history and optimistic that these traditions won’t disappear.
Festivalni ham tasvirlang, ham his-tuyg‘u va xulosani ayting.
3-qism: Muhokama
Part 3 da imtihonchi mavzuni umumlashtirib, jamiyat darajasidagi savollar beradi. Fikr + sabab + misol + (ixtiyoriy) qarshi fikr.
-
Why are traditional festivals important?
Namuna javob
They strengthen people’s sense of identity and connect generations. They’re also a way of passing on skills and stories that might otherwise be forgotten.
Ikki funksiya.
-
Have festivals become too commercialised?
Namuna javob
Some have, particularly international ones like New Year, where the focus is often on shopping. However, many local festivals still retain their original meaning.
Qisman rozilik.
-
Is it good for countries to adopt festivals from other cultures?
Namuna javob
It can promote understanding and add variety to life. The danger is if imported festivals replace local ones rather than coexisting with them.
Ikki tomon.
-
How can governments help preserve traditional festivals?
Namuna javob
By funding them, protecting the crafts associated with them and including them in school programmes so that young people grow up valuing them.
Choralar.
