Describe a website that you find useful.
You should say:
- what the website is
- how you found out about it
- what you use it for
and explain why you find it useful.
Namuna javob
A website I find extremely useful is an online dictionary designed for English learners, which I discovered about three years ago when my teacher recommended it during an IELTS preparation course. At first I used it simply to check meanings, but I gradually realised it offers much more than that. For every word, it gives example sentences from real texts, audio recordings in both British and American accents, and information about collocations — which words naturally go together. For instance, it tells you we say “make a decision” rather than “do a decision”, which is exactly the kind of detail that textbooks often miss. I use it almost daily, especially when I’m writing essays or preparing for presentations at work. It also has a feature where you can save words into personal lists and test yourself later, which I use on the metro. The main reason I find it so useful is that it has made me more independent as a learner. Instead of guessing or relying on translation apps, which are often inaccurate, I can check how English is actually used by native speakers.
Saytning aniq funksiyalarini misol bilan tushuntiring.
3-qism: Muhokama
Part 3 da imtihonchi mavzuni umumlashtirib, jamiyat darajasidagi savollar beradi. Fikr + sabab + misol + (ixtiyoriy) qarshi fikr.
-
How has the internet changed the way people learn?
Namuna javob
It’s made education far more accessible. Anyone with a connection can watch lectures from top universities for free. The downside is that there’s so much information that it can be hard to know what’s reliable.
Ijobiy + salbiy.
-
Should older people be taught how to use the internet?
Namuna javob
Absolutely. So many services, from banking to booking doctors’ appointments, have moved online, so older people risk being excluded if they don’t have those skills.
Kuchli pozitsiya.
-
How can people tell whether information online is reliable?
Namuna javob
They should check who wrote it, whether sources are cited, and compare it with other reputable websites. Anything that seems designed to provoke strong emotions should be treated with caution.
Mezonlar.
-
Will physical libraries become unnecessary?
Namuna javob
I doubt it. Libraries are evolving into community spaces — offering quiet places to study, free internet and events — so they serve purposes beyond simply lending books.
Bashorat + tushuntirish.
