Describe a public park or garden that you like.
You should say:
- where it is
- what it looks like
- what people do there
and explain why you like it.
Namuna javob
The park I like most is the Japanese Garden in Tashkent, which is located near the Tashkent City area, not far from the centre. It was created as a symbol of friendship between Uzbekistan and Japan, and it’s designed in a traditional Japanese style, which makes it feel completely different from other parks in the city. As you walk in, you find winding paths around a large pond with small wooden bridges and stone lanterns. There are carefully shaped pine trees, little waterfalls and a lot of koi fish, which children love feeding. In spring, the cherry trees blossom, and the whole place turns pink — that’s when it’s busiest, with people taking wedding photos and families having picnics nearby. On normal days, it’s much calmer; you see people reading on benches, couples walking and occasionally someone practising tai chi. I like it mainly because it feels like an escape from the city. Even though it’s close to busy roads, the sound of the water blocks out the traffic. I also appreciate how well it’s maintained — it’s very clean, and the gardeners obviously take great pride in their work. Whenever I feel stressed, a walk around the pond helps me reset.
Joyni bosqichma-bosqich (kirish → ichkari → fasllar) tasvirlang.
3-qism: Muhokama
Part 3 da imtihonchi mavzuni umumlashtirib, jamiyat darajasidagi savollar beradi. Fikr + sabab + misol + (ixtiyoriy) qarshi fikr.
-
Why are green spaces important in cities?
Namuna javob
They provide physical and mental health benefits, reduce air pollution and help cool cities during heatwaves. They’re also free social spaces, which is important in an increasingly expensive urban environment.
Ko‘p qirrali.
-
Should more land be used for parks or for housing?
Namuna javob
It’s a difficult balance. Cities need affordable housing, but building on every available space makes them unhealthy. I think new housing developments should be required to include green areas.
Muvozanat + taklif.
-
Who should pay for maintaining parks?
Namuna javob
Primarily local governments through taxes, but businesses could sponsor parks, and volunteers can play a role in keeping them clean.
Taqsimlangan.
-
How might parks change in the future?
Namuna javob
They’ll probably include more features adapted to climate change — shaded areas, water features and plants that need less water.
Bashorat.
