Are you good at learning new skills?
Namuna javob
I’d say I’m a fairly quick learner if I’m interested in something. If it bores me, I struggle to focus.
Shartli javob.
-
What skill would you like to learn?
Namuna javob
I’d love to learn to play the piano. I’ve always admired people who can just sit down and play.
Orzu + sabab.
-
Do you prefer learning from books or from videos?
Namuna javob
Videos for practical skills, because you can actually see the technique. Books are better for deep understanding.

Describe a skill that took you a long time to learn.
You should say:
- what the skill is
- when you started learning it
- how you learned it
and explain why it took you a long time to learn.
Namuna javob
A skill that took me an incredibly long time to learn was swimming — which might sound surprising, because most people learn as children. I grew up in a city far from the sea, and the only pool nearby was closed for years, so I simply never learned. When I was twenty, I went to Turkey with friends and spent the whole holiday sitting on the beach while they swam. That embarrassment was the push I needed. When I got home, I signed up for adult lessons at a sports centre, three evenings a week. The first month was a nightmare. I was terrified of putting my face in the water, and I kept panicking and grabbing the side of the pool. My instructor was very patient; she broke everything down into tiny steps — first breathing, then floating, then kicking. It took nearly a year before I could swim a full length without stopping. I think it took so long because the problem wasn’t really physical — it was fear. Once I learned to trust the water, everything else came quite naturally.

3-qism: Muhokama
Part 3 da imtihonchi mavzuni umumlashtirib, jamiyat darajasidagi savollar beradi. Fikr + sabab + misol + (ixtiyoriy) qarshi fikr.
-
What skills should schools teach that they don’t teach now?
Namuna javob
Practical life skills, such as managing money, basic cooking and first aid. Many young people leave school knowing complicated formulas but not how to make a budget.
Misollar + kontrast.
-
Is it easier for children or adults to learn new skills?
Namuna javob
Children usually pick up languages and physical skills faster, but adults have better concentration and can understand why they’re learning something, which helps with complex skills.
Ikki tomon.
-
Will technology make some skills unnecessary?
Namuna javob
Probably — for example, few people need to read paper maps any more. But technology also creates demand for new skills, such as data analysis or digital literacy.
Misol + qarshi tomon.
-
Why do some people give up learning new things?
Namuna javob
Often because progress feels slow at the start, and they lose motivation. Setting small, achievable goals can help people persevere.
Sabab + yechim.
