Describe an outdoor activity you enjoyed.
You should say:
- what the activity was
- where you did it
- who you did it with
and explain why you enjoyed it.
Namuna javob
The outdoor activity I enjoyed most was a two-day trek to the Seven Lakes in the Fann Mountains in Tajikistan, which I did with three friends last summer. The Seven Lakes are a chain of lakes at different heights in a deep valley, each one a slightly different colour — from turquoise to deep blue — because of the minerals in the water. We hired a local guide called Firuz and walked about twenty kilometres each day, sleeping overnight in a homestay in a tiny mountain village. The paths were steep in places, and on the second day we had to cross a fast-flowing river by jumping from rock to rock, which was quite nerve-racking. There are several reasons I enjoyed it so much. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking — every time we turned a corner, there was another view that seemed impossible. I also loved the physical challenge; by the end I was exhausted, but in a satisfying way. But what made it truly special was the people. The family we stayed with cooked us fresh bread and yogurt, and in the evening the grandfather told us stories about the lakes through Firuz’s translation. It reminded me that the best travel experiences come from human connections, not just beautiful places.
Joy (geografik tafsilot) → faoliyat (qiyinchilik) → sabablar (manzara, jismoniy, insoniy — eng muhimi oxirida).
3-qism: Muhokama
Part 3 da imtihonchi mavzuni umumlashtirib, jamiyat darajasidagi savollar beradi. Fikr + sabab + misol + (ixtiyoriy) qarshi fikr.
-
Why do some people enjoy dangerous activities?
Namuna javob
They enjoy the adrenaline rush and the feeling of overcoming fear. For some, it’s also a way to escape the predictability of everyday life.
Psixologik.
-
Do children spend less time outdoors nowadays?
Namuna javob
Definitely, especially in cities. Parents worry more about safety, and screens offer easy entertainment. This can affect children’s physical health and creativity.
Sabab + oqibat.
-
Should outdoor activities be part of the school curriculum?
Namuna javob
I think so. Activities like hiking or camping teach teamwork, resilience and respect for nature in a way classrooms can’t.
Pozitsiya.
-
Can tourism in natural areas be harmful?
Namuna javob
Yes, if it’s not managed properly. Too many visitors can erode paths, disturb wildlife and leave litter. Limiting numbers and educating tourists can help.
Muammo + yechim.

IELTS Speaking mezonlari bo‘yicha baholang
Yozuvlaringizni qayta tinglab, har mezonga halol baho bering.
