Every year, thousands of young people leave their villages and move to big cities. While city life offers many advantages, I believe the countryside also has a lot to offer.
There is no doubt that cities provide more opportunities. The best universities and most well-paid jobs are usually found there, and young people can easily meet others who share their interests.
On the other hand, life in the countryside is often healthier and less stressful. The air is cleaner, there is less noise, and people have more contact with nature. Many young people who move to the city complain about long journeys and crowded flats.
Another important factor is the cost of living. Rent and food in cities can be extremely expensive, so young people often have to work long hours just to survive. In a village, by contrast, money goes much further.
In conclusion, I think cities are the better choice for young people who want to study or build a career, but the countryside offers a calmer and more affordable way of life.
